We are pleased to announce that Ecological Communications Corporation (Ecomm) has been acquired by AmaTerra Environmental, Inc. (AmaTerra). AmaTerra is a small, disadvantaged, woman-owned environmental consulting firm specializing in National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA); Biological, Archeological, and Historical Resources; Wetlands and Environmental Permitting; and Compliance-Related Environmental Consulting.
The name and logo of AmaTerra reflects our core services. The word Ama is Cherokee for water and Terra is Latin for earth. Combined they represent the natural resources side of the firm. At the same time, the use of a Native American word linked with an Old World Latin word reflects the cultural resources side of our services.
This merger further strengthens our position in the environmental market and allows us to pursue new contracting avenues. We are in process of securing Federal, State, and local certifications to accommodate contracting requirements. We will work directly with our clients, partners, and staff to make the integration process as smooth as possible. In the meantime, you will continue to receive the same high quality service that you have come to expect.
Our contact information (address, phone/fax numbers) will remain the same. Email addresses will automatically convert over to the new domain in January 2012 and our new website www.amaterra.com will be activated very soon. We look forward to continuing to work with you in the future. Should you have questions or need further information, please contact Jill Madden at (512) 329-0031 or jmadden@amaterra.com
